Founded in 2002, Bar BW Paint Horses is a breeding farm owned and operated by Barbara Binns and Wayne Chappell.  Our business revolves around a small band of broodmares, and breeding decisions reflect a philosophy of precedence of quality over quantity.  Our ultimate objective is to produce good minded, trainable, pretty, talented horses with the modern look and movement desired in the show pen today. 

We handle our foals daily and delight in their growth and development.  When it comes time for their training, we enlist the help of Mellissa Buckley and Richard Pyke of Pyke and Buckley Performance Horses who are only 5 minutes from us.  The proximity allows us to maintain a very active role in our horses' progress and lives. 

When it comes to show time, either Mellissa or Wayne exhibits the horse with Barbara handling the behind the scenes aspects of participating at a show.  We are a cohesive team that enjoys what we do. We love our horses and are thrilled to show them off!

Bar BW's horses enjoy a cozy barn and daily turnout in paddocks or rolling pasture ideal for our young ones to grow.  Our farm is located in beautiful South Langley (situated in the southwest corner of British Columbia) in the heart of horse country. Just minutes from the WA border and only an hour east of  Vancouver, home of the 2010 Winter Olympics.
